Welcome back to the remote countryside on a Southern Japanese island where even though temperatures are warmer than Mainland Japan,we're still experiencing a chilly February here!
My Wife was up early making Tasty Bento for our Daughter to take with her to school but sadly she wasn't feeling very well and ended up staying at home for the day.
We've been doing some DIY to our old countryside home.We do rent the property but the owner has no issues with us doing whatever we want to the place!We decided to plaster over most of the remaining wood panelling as well as changing our TV setup to a wall mounted unit.We'll also be putting some carpeting down soon in order to stop our dog Rufi from sliding all over the wooden floor!
Seeing as though we received a huge bag of potatoes and some carrots from our friendly farming neighbours,we decided to make the delicious Japanese Meat and Potato stew dish of "NikuJaga"
