Early March and a warm Southerly wind was blowing.After harvesting some more vegetables from our small natural farm,we made the most of the good weather and headed out for the day!
We visited a Shrine where even though it was a day before the 3rd of March,there was a small festival taking place for Hinamatsuri "Girls Day"
There was a magnificent Doll arrangement on display and we enjoyed "Sakura Mochi"
In the evening,we enjoyed a dinner using Tofu and Whitebait fish called "Shirasu Tofu Donbori"
We could also enjoy tasting the new brand of rice we ordered called "Akitakomachi"
