How to Turn Off 'Find My' using iPad or iPhone
This video shows an example of how to turn off the 'Find My' service using iPad or iPhone before turning it back on.
If you are bringing your device in for service to Apple or an Apple Authorised Service Provider, you might be asked to turn off this feature, so the technicians can perform a repair.

Instructions on how to turn off 'Find My':
1. Unlock your iPad or iPhone
2. Open 'Settings'
3. Tap on your name at the top left or top on iPad or iPhone respectively
4. Tap on the 'Find My' option
5. Tap on 'Find My iPad' or 'Find My iPhone'
6. Untoggle the 'Find My iPad' or 'Find My iPhone' option
7. Enter your password to verify the change
We recommend turning 'Find My' back on as soon as possible. Here's how to do it.

3. Tap on the 'Find My' option
4. Tap on 'Find My iPad' or 'Find My iPhone'
5. Enable the toggle to activate the 'Find My' service.
