AI Amplifying Creativity : Philip Hodgetts
Recorded live at the May 24 Lacpug meet on AI: Philip Hodgetts provided a high level overview of the many ways AI is already involved in production. From script approval to on camera talent, AI is everywhere providing new, powerful creative tools and at the same time challenging workflows and jobs. The examples shown - automatic rotoscoping, must creation, image processing, image and animation creation, et al - culminated in an all AI commercial that highlighted how quickly the field is changing. Almost none of the tools used in that mock commercial existed seven months ago. The presentation finished by outlining strategies to control your future.
