A Black Lady Sketch Show
A Black Lady Sketch Show is the universally acclaimed sketch comedy series that debuted in 2019 and has been a hit ever since. The show is thought to be the first sketch comedy series written, produced by, and starring Black women. At the recent 2023 ACE Eddie awards, the team won the Eddie for Best editing for a Variety show, making them the first all black editing team to win the distinguished award. We were fortunate to have editors, Stephanie Filo, Bradinn French and S. Robyn Wilson, three of the four editors at lacpug. They showed clips and talked process.
