Updating MS WLAN Märklin 60667 from Computer/Tablet/Cell phone (MS2 Episode 8)
In this video we look at how to update the Märklin 60667 Mobile Station Wireless LAN (MS WLAN) aka the wireless Mobile Station using a computer, tablet or cell phone. The update is downloaded from the Märklin website (https://www.maerklin.de/en/service/do..., then the MS WLAN is put in "Access Point" mode (AP-Mode). When the MS WLAN is in AP-mode you can connect to the access point of the MS WLAN (network "msw-serial number" e.g. "msw-603", default password: maerklin160) and go to the web page (http://192.168.1.1) to upload the firmware.
This is an easy way to update the firmware of the Wireless Mobile Station (MS WLAN) without the use of a Central Station as is needed for the traditional Mobile Station 2 (MS2).
WARNING: DO NOT TURN OFF THE MS WLAN DURING FIRMWARE UPDATE!!!
