What to expect for a cardiac stress test
If you are coming in for a cardiac stress test, there’s a lot to know! EKG stress tests will show how well your heart functions under pressure. On a treadmill or bike, you would be connected to an EKG while gradually gaining speed and incline/resistance. Results can show underlying coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, need for medications and more.
