I typically write the chords, lyrics, and melody on my piano and move the idea into my DAW (either Mixcraft or Cubase). I have found that this is my favorite writing process for songs ♡

I wrote this song after watching Elvis and Priscilla videos all day long on January 19th, 2023 on YouTube. I watched clips from the movie “Elvis” that came out in 2022, Priscilla’s interviews, literally anything I could find lol.
I don’t know why I was obsessed with Elvis and Priscilla all of a sudden that day, but I wrote this song from the videos in less than an hour. It’s the fastest song I’ve ever written. It’s my interpretation of Priscilla’s point of view ♡ Obviously, I don't know the classy & beautiful Priscilla Presley. This is just a song I got inspired to write after “researching” (obsessively watching) their relationship timeline and her interviews all day long. It's an ✨inspiration✨, not her exact feelings (obviii).
In the 2nd Verse, the lyrics “I stay now, then I will never leave” reference a line from “Elvis" the movie (2022). In the scene, Priscilla is leaving him, Elvis doesn’t want her to go, and she says “If I stay I’ll never leave” (linked below).
