Cordless screwdriver battery replacement and test (before and after)
Replacing the battery pack in my old mini 4.8V cordless screwdriver.
To build the new battery pack, I used PKCELL's NiCd, AA, 1000mAh battery cells, sold by an eBay seller "durnergy01" (Durnergy is PKCELL's Canadian branch). PKCELL is a Chinese battery manufacturer that offers high quality batteries at low prices. Their prices are not the lowest on eBay but I think that if you notice any better deal than they offer on eBay, it's likely, not necessarily, but likely a scam, especially if the batteries seem to have a suspiciously high capacity. For AA sized NiCd, 1000mAh is pretty much as high as it can get (it can probably go a bit higher, but not much).
