Georeferencing Using Open Street Map (OSM) in QGIS

In this video, you will come to know the process of georeferencing using Open Street Map in QGIS.
Steps to follow:
1. Open QGIS - Go to browser - Select XYZ tiles and double click open street map.
2. OSM is added to your table of content.
3. Zoom to study area by identifying the features with respect to unreferenced map.
4. Go to Raster - Open Georeferencer - Add raster (unreferenced file).
5. Go to settings - Assign projection information - as per OSM.
6. Identify the features with respect to Open Street Map on unreferenced Map.
7. Add point - click on specific feature like town, railway crossing, select - from map canvas - click on same feature location.
8. Likewise select points to cover all the corners.
9. Run georeferencer - Close referencer tool.
10. Go to add raster layer - select modified (referenced) file and check the details which are matching with Open Street Map.
