Hi Viewers,
This video describes the process of delineation of watershed using DEM (Digital Elevation Model) data by using Hydrology tools of Spatial Analyst tools of ArcMAP.
Steps to follow the procdedure:
1. Open DEM in ArcMAP
2. Open Hydrology tools of Spatial Analyst of Arc Tool box.
3. Go to Fill - Give DEM as input and select output - complete the process.
4. Go to Flow Direction - Give Fill data as input and select output - complete the process.
5. Go to Basin - Give Flow direction as input and select output - complete the process.
6. Go to Flow accumulation - Give Flow direction as input and select output - complete the process.
7. Go to Map algebra in Raster calculation under spatial analyst tool - select scale value for flow accumulation - ex. flow accu greater than 200 - Save.
8. Now Basin and Drainage rasters are generated.
9. Go to Conversion tools - From Raster - raster to polygon - Give basin raster as input and select output (vector data) polygon.
10. Go to Conversion tools - From Raster - raster to polyline - Give flow acc. calculated raster as input and select output (vector data) polyline.
