The Center for Inclusive Computing (CIC) works with computing departments across the United States to implement systemic changes that broaden participation in computing. These strategies all into three areas: 1) changes to the introductory computing sequence; 2) improvements to student support, and 3) changes to the computing major.

This video provides an overview of changes CIC partner schools to student support. These include: centralized recruitment and training of Teaching Assistants at both University of Washington and Northeastern University, Active Learning recitations at University of Minnesota, and clear advising re BS and BA degree options at Florida International University.
