Diwa Shah | Kuldip Patel | Bahadur: The Brave | Chab | NFDC Film Bazaar
Diwa Shah is an independent filmmaker from Nainital. She has studied creative writing at the esteemed Durham University, UK. Ever since, she has written two novels that are on the verge of being published. She has also worked as an assistant director alongside her national-award-winning mother, Shalini Shah. Bahadur: The Brave is her first feature- length project, which got selected in the WIP Lab by NFDC Film Bazaar. The film premiered at the prestigious San Sebastian International Film Festival in September 2023 and won the Kutxabank New Directors Award. The film was also a part of the Jio MAMI 2023 and received the Silver Gateway Award. Her next film Chab's script was part of the screenwriters lab at the Film Bazaar.
