Ilango Ram and Hiranya Perera are a filmmakers couple from Srilanka. An alumnus from Asian Film Academy-Korea, Berlinale Talents, Rotterdam Lab, PAS Nantes and Rockport College USA, Ilango taught filmmaking at the University of Kelaniya and SLTTI, Sri Lanka. Ilango has served as a jury panelist at the Colombo International Film Festival. His project, Silent Tears (short), was selected for 28 festivals and received 19 awards, including Locarno Open Doors. Their feature Tentigo was premiered at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival 2023 and won the special jury award. He will be remaking Tentigo in Tamil, the first Sri Lankan film to be remade. As a TVC director, llango has directed over 450 TVCs. Their second project Rabbit Hole is part of Co-Production Market at the Film Bazaar.
