In this Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition playthrough, we uncover a treasure trove of movie references, pop culture nods, and hilarious Easter eggs!

Going Postal Reference: In the room leading to the Going Postal exit, we see a group of people hanging from the ceiling—a clever nod to the term "hung jury."

Action Movie Desks: As we explore the level, we come across desks belonging to iconic action movie characters like John McClane from Die Hard, Harry Callahan from Dirty Harry, and Judge Dredd from 2000AD. Duke even quotes each character’s famous one-liners!

Terminator Reference: The level kicks off with an epic scene—a car crashing into the police station, just like in The Terminator when the T-800 attacks the station. We hear gunshots and Duke overhears the classic line: "I'll be back."

Developer Cameo: Inside the station, the Wanted list is filled with photos of the game's developers. Upon examining it, Duke quips "Hmm, book 'em Danno," a reference to Hawaii Five-O.

Copier Prank: In a hilarious moment, stepping on the copier in one of the rooms will result in Duke copying his buttcheeks—complete with a tattoo that says "Lani" a tribute to voice actress Lani Minella.

Surveillance Center Duck: At the surveillance center, activating the middle computer screen triggers a surprise—a duck with an exclamation mark, signaling that you need to duck as an Assault Commander launches a missile from behind!

Unabomber Reference: Near Officer John McClane's desk, you’ll find a photo of the Unabomber, adding another layer of dark humor.

Judge's Stand: At the Judge's Stand, we spot a satirical twist on the U.S. motto. Instead of "E Pluribus Unum", it reads "E Pluribus Nukem," meaning "From many, Duke."

Courtroom Witness Stand: If you head to the witness stand, Duke flips the traditional oath, saying "So help me Duke" instead of "So help me God."

O.J. Simpson Trial Reference: In the interrogation room, we spot a bloody glove on the table—an obvious reference to the infamous O.J. Simpson trial.

This playthrough is packed with hidden gems, clever nods to action movies, and Duke's trademark humor. Stick around as we continue to uncover more secrets and references in this iconic FPS!
