Everyone learns about.. the killing game.
𓉘 Context 𓉝
“What...?” A shaky breath escaped Mai Yamada's lips as she took in the words MonoStar had just announced.
“Do you fully comprehend what I’m telling you?” MonoStar elaborated the details of the killing game. The explanation got mixed reactions, with some visibly stunned, a few trembling in terror. “This is your killing game. A contest of cat and mouse. Will you live as a survivor, or shall you succumb to despair?”
MonoStar continued, “The tablets you each received and have been using gathering information of each other are known as E-Handbooks. You will find a map of the school, along with the rules of your killing game. However, a severe punishment awaits those who dare to defy these rules.”
“The punishment you receive will surpass the one Ms. Seamstress received," MonoStar added, casting a spotlight on Mai. She instinctually closed her eyes, she felt the weight of everyone’s gaze upon her.
A trembling voice pierced the air, “This... this has to be fake, right...?”
The spotlight shifted, prompting Mai to open her eyes to see Nahi Hyung. It hit Mai like a ton of bricks. Children. Innocent children were being forced to endure this.. killing game. It felt absolutely wrong…
But taking the moment of silence, Mai fumblely retrieved the E-Handbook from her pocket. Her eyes scanning the rules urgently:

「 ✦ Rules ✦ 」
★ Rule #1 : Ultimates must participate in the killing game. Refusing to participate will result in punishment.
★ Rule #2 : “Nighttime” is from 10 pm to 8 am. Some areas are off-limits at night, so please exercise caution.
★ Rule #3 : Sleeping anywhere other than the dormitory will be seen as sleeping in class and punished accordingly. This rule may waver.
★ Rule #4 : With minimal restrictions, you are free to explore the inside of the building at your discretion. The outside is restricted, no one is allowed outside.
★ Rule #5: Attempting to break into locked rooms is strictly prohibited.
★ Rule #6: Lending your e-Handbook to another student is strictly prohibited.
★ Rule #7 : Violence against MonoStar is strictly prohibited. Threats included.
★ Rule #8 : Property damage is prohibited. This rule may waver in case of committing a murder.
★ Rule #9 : Anyone who kills a fellow student and becomes “blackened” will graduate, unless they are discovered.
★ Rule #10 : MonoStar will never directly commit murder.
★ Rule #11 : Additional school regulations may be added if necessary.

Mai glanced up, returning the E-handbook in her pocket, her hands continued to tremble.
“Fake...?” MonoStar whispered; the room fell eerily quiet. His whisper hung heavy in the air, filling the space with an inexplicable tension.
With a stern authoritative tone, MonoStar declared, “This is very much real, Ms. Lil Bad Luck.” His smile remained, but the underlying tone had shifted. “If you doubt my words for even a moment, I’d be more than willing to give you a very real demonstration of the killing game’s reality.”
The air crackled with tension as a mechanical sound filled the room, the floor beneath them vibrating in response. And then, all hell broke loose…
