Pink Cloud Ballade by Jules de Bouverie
'Pink Cloud Ballade' was premiered by the Sheffield Bass Clarinet choir in April of 2023 and conducted by Antony Clare. The piece uses fragments of Mexican folks songs which I combined to form a mass of sound. Little fragments come in and out of the sound mass to create a fun atmosphere throughout. The piece was composed, commissioned, and funded by SCAW, Raasay Music Courses and CASSGB. Video was recorded by Sarah Watts.
