Living where we do, my husband decided that doing a little snorkelling might be kind of interesting. We also attempted to learn to surf over the summer of 2020. With our water temperature being my biggest obstacle we invested in some heavy-duty wetsuits and topped up our snorkel gear with a few new pieces.
Here we have a snorkel and Viper mask from Mares, a Salvimar Noah mask, and a pair of Seac 5mm scuba boots. The boots were for me and they did the trick and kept my feet warm. However, I found them difficult to fully zip up in combination with my suit. They also left some pretty major welts on my legs after wearing them for a period of time. As for the masks, my husband slightly preferred the Salvimar and for me, they were about the same. The snorkel, well, is a snorkel. It's kind of hard to go wrong with that one.
