Okay, I'm not a regular H&M shopper. Or, one for fast fashion, as it is. I've been into vintage since before it was cool. You know, back when it was just called "poor." Anyways, I happened to pop into the store on one of my trips to the big city, just killing time, and I spotted a dress. This dress made all my teenage goth dreams come true (my highschool goth career was short-lived when I discovered the joys of other subcultures, but still). Not to mention, the price was insanely low, like I thought it was a mistake kinda low. They did not have my size. I was unable to try on what they did have because covid. I'm not much of an impulse buyer either, so I had to have a think. I didn't get it. A few weeks later, when I was back in the city I went back for the dress and it was sold out. My brain couldn't let it go, so I went online and made it mine. While I was on the website I took a peek at the sale stuff and found these rock 'n roll pants, also on an incredible deal, and added them to the stash. The underwear is just me on the hunt for the elusive perfect pair.
Findings. The dress is rad and was well worth the effort. I haven't worn it mostly because I haven't had the occasion. The pants are awesome and fit great but the winter quarantine pounds have multiplied so they're not as cute on as they once were. I've also modified them with a row of bronze studs up each leg and some sweet butterfly patches on the pockets. They're adorable. They don't fit. And, they will be a part of an upcoming collection to be sold in my shop. My gain is your gain, so to speak. The underwear were a flop in my books. I begrudgingly wear them because I own them. Let's just say this, if I wanted underwear up my butt I would buy a thong.
Can I just add that this dress is giving me Gucci Fall 2016 RTW look 19 vibes!?
