Azure storage account for backups
▸In this video tutorial we go over the usage of Azure Storage Account service for backing up of files/content and specifically the Blob Storage component.
Using an Azure storage account for storing of your files for disaster recovery situations is really great because you can let Microsoft worry about the replication of the data across multiple locations and file systems and they also offer many great features such as being able to recover your files in case of unwanted deletes and support the ability to create different versions of your files as they are updated which you can roll back to in a case of a need.
In the end, we end up going over two different tools (rclone and azcopy) which provide a great many features that allow you to create an automated process to support the ability to sync your content from one location to the cloud without building a highly complex and customized solution by yourself.
