Azure Key Vault with App Configuration introduction tutorial
▸This video is an introduction to using Azure Key Vault with your App Configuration through the common API.
We are going to expand upon our previous video where we walked through the process of setting up a new Function App with App Configuration and a Managed Identity in order to retrieve configuration settings from a centralized service instead of using the normal files.
One of the nice features of App Configuration is its ability to allow you to use its APIs in order to also retrieve sensitive values from Azure Key Vault without having to learn a brand new set of APIs to do that.
We are going to deploy a new Key Vault to add a super secret value which you will then see us reference and retrieve through the App Configuration library.
This method of writing your applications will make it more secure to maintain your solution and provide an easier mechanism to maintain your code.
