In this video, DIYNate shows how he changes the light bulb in a Broan bath vent/fan and light combo. The approach is pretty straight-forward, however, many people will just not change the light bulb because they aren't aware how easy it actually is. By pressing in the plastic tabs on the sides of the light housing, this will often open up the main lighting housing giving access to the light bulb. From there, it is as simple as changing the bulb, cleaning off the plastic light cover (recommended since debris, bugs and other stuff will get up there over the years), and then fastening the plastic cover back in place.
In a prior house, DIYNate did not change his bath light for months because he wasn't sure what it entailed. When he finally got around to changing the lightbulb, he was surprised by just how easy it actually was. In this video, DIYNate is actually changing out a bath vent fan for his in-laws and the project took less than five minutes.
