Change a standard AC Evaporative (Swamp) Cooler into a low-voltage DC unit (12 or 24 volts). When done, the cooler used only about 1/3 the power of the original AC version; and with DC, no inverter is required. The video also takes time to explain some basic skills along the way (soldering, metal-working, DC wiring, etc.) which can just be skipped over if desired.
This Part 3 covers modifying the cabinet to fit certain fans, adjusting the cooler's water level, introduces the new dc water pump and other electrical parts needed for the dc conversion.
