In this video, I will show you the way to create your own custom run commands for windows run dialog box in windows 11. The whole process is explained in brief below:
• First of all, create a folder anywhere in your PC.
• Then add the folder to the System's Path variable.
• Now you can copy or move the shortcuts of your files or the files themselves to the folder.
• Open Windows Run Dialog by pressing Windows + Run and then type the name of the file or shortcut, which you have placed inside the folder.
• That's it. The file or folder will open of whose name you have typed in the run dialog.
(Tip: You can also add your Desktop folder to the System's Path variable.)
IMPORTANT NOTES
• If there is any space in the name of the shortcut or file in the folder, then it won't work. You have to either eliminate spaces in the file name or add "dash" instead of spaces.
• If you make a sub-folder inside that folder, it will not work because windows will only look for the files in those folders which you have added to the System's Path variable.
