The frequency that your bird needs their nails trimmed depends a lot on their living environment. Some birds that are in outdoor aviaries will often wear their nails down naturally, but those birds living indoors may need their nails clipped.

In most situations, it easier to have two people to help clip your birds’ nails. You will require one person to gently restrain the bird while the other performs the nail clip.
