🧑🏻⚕️ What's Involved in a Bird Health Check?
We recommend a health check every six months, ideally just before Spring and again in winter. During this visit, we perform a complete physical examination, looking at their eyes, ears inside their mouth and crop, wings, legs, and abdominal cavity that contains their kidneys, liver, spleen and intestines. Sometimes a faecal and/or crop sample is taken and examined under the microscope to identify any pathogens causing issues.
