Cactus Jaw - Russell - Live at Trees 1997
This is one of my favorite Cactus Jaw songs. We wrote it, the four of us, at rehearsal one night and when we were done, we asked Shawn what he was singing about. He said, "I'm singing about Russell, you know, from Giant Dogs."
Russell was a friend of ours, and he sang in a band called the Giant Dogs and we played a lot of shows with them at the Tattoo Bar. This turned out to be one of our best songs. It's got a great monster truck riff and a pounding chorus.
