The falls comprise a series of cascades, claimed by Wikipedia to have a combined height of 122 metres. The Marysville Tourism website says they're 84 metres high. I don't recall my drone's altimeter reading, but the lower figure would be the more accurate one.
There are few opportunities (from the ground) to view the falls in their entirety. You catch glimpses from a distance as you approach on the track from the carpark, but once at the base you can only see the bottom cascade. Nor is there much that's visible from the top either. And the winding path that takes you up there, while pleasant, has no water views.
A major bushfire passed through the area in 2009. All the greenery you can see is the regrowth since that devastating fire.
