In "We Are the Goldens," Nell can’t figure out what’s up with her older sister, Layla. They used to be close. Inseparable. They shared all their secrets. Told each other everything. Now Layla is secretive and closed-off. And no wonder. When Nell finally discovers the truth—Layla is in a relationship with a teacher—she finds it almost impossible to process.
What’s more important: loyalty to the sister you adore, or the whisperings of your conscience? Nell must make an impossible choice, but one she hopes will ultimately save her sister.
