openpilot GM port progress - working with some trucks and Bolt, Comma is interested!
It's a longer one - in my defense I had a lot to cover; apologies nonetheless.
We are having some very good success and some excellent collaboration with Comma. The current port (https://GitHub.com/opgm/openpilot -- dev branch) is working across a number of vehicles with varying connectivity methods. Bolt EV, Acadia Denali, Silverado, Equinox, Tahoe (or close...), we even have a Suburban in the works!
Note that when I say working, I mean it operates largely without error. it's by no means ready for prime time, and the tuning is spotty. I will happily accept PRs and suggestions so long as they are upstreamable.
It's working on the EON Gold with a Grey or black panda; Comma 2 and Comma 3. It running on vehicles with and without radar; with and without an ASCM, connected via OBD-2 and the camera harness.

openpilot is an open source driving automation package developed by https://comma.ai that runs on their hardware as well a quite a few alternatives. It's really a fantastic thing they are providing the world be sure to check them out!
