60 Second Tip: The Fading Gradient Trap (and the Fix!)
When you have a gradient going from one colour to another, reducing opacity of one colour to zero still leaves elements of the colour within the colour. Here's how this happens and also how to get a gradient of one colour from that colour down to fully transparent.
