Affinity Photo Version 2: Layers 3: How Masking/Clipping Layers Really Work!
When you drag a layer to the icon/thumbnail of another layer, it acts differently to when you drag to the name of the other layer. This is 'masking' vs 'clipping', which can be rather confusing. Here we explain and show carefully how this works and exactly what happens in each case.
