The great Imam and scholar of Islam, Abu Ja'far al-Warraq al-Tahawi al-Misri, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "This is a statement of the creed of Ahlus-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah according to the principles of the school of jurists of this religion, Abu Hanifa an-Nu'man ibn Thabit al-Kufi, Abu Yusuf Ya'qub ibn Ibrahim al-Ansari, and Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ash-Shaybani, may Allah be pleased with them all, and what they believed regarding the fundamentals of religion and their belief in the Lord of all worlds."
