MAMAW ALLIE'S EASY APPLESAUCE CAKE RECIPE
BAKING INSTRUCTIONS:
▪️ Bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 38-42 minutes.
▪️ Let the cake cool for 10 minutes in the pan on a wire cooling rack, then flip/transfer to the cake plate you will serve it on.
▪️ Allow the cake to cool an additional 20-30 minutes before glazing.

▪️ 1 1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
▪️ 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
▪️ 1 tsp apple pie spice (or cinnamon)
▪️ 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
▪️ 2 large eggs
▪️ 1/2 cup raisins
▪️ 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Cinnamon Glaze (optional)
▪️ 1/3 cup powdered sugar
▪️ 1/2 tsp cinnamon
▪️ 1/2 tbsp - 1 tbsp milk
