Derelict Honda Snowblower - Will It Run
I found myself in possession of an abandoned Honda HS35 snow blower. It was not running so I applied my usual small engine troubleshooting procedures to get it working. After getting the engine running however it turns out it didn't throw snow as a snow thrower should. Replacing the auger paddles and the scraper bar proved to be the difference between a lethargic snowblower and one that throws snow quite well. This is the first time working on any Honda lawn equipment, so there were a few surprises along the way, but now I have a better understanding of Honda small engines (specifically the carburetor) as all my experience to this point was with Briggs & Stratton machines which I believe are equipped with Walbro carburetors.
