Currently, the World Aquatics Championships are in full swing, and some of you may be watching the world's top swimmers and trying harder than usual, thinking, "I want to swim faster!"

In my 30+ years of coaching experience, I've seen swimmers injure their shoulders by suddenly trying to swim faster, so I'd like to explain what strokes can help prevent injury.

Advanced swimmers differ not only in form but also in speed. Even a stroke at the same speed puts a lot of strain on the shoulders of someone with a slower body movement. I hope that by watching this video, you can reduce shoulder strain and develop a form that will allow you to continue swimming for as long as possible.
