Being known as the “nice girl” absolutely ruined my personal development and self-actualization.
I spent most of my childhood and young adulthood conforming to what others expected of me.
Saying the right thing.
Holding my tongue.
Being “mature”
Until one day, I woke up and realized I didn’t even believe half of the words that were coming out of my own mouth. 👄 🤯
How had I endured life this way?
How had I spent so many years convincing myself that what I had to say was not valuable?
Why had I watered down myself and what I stood for to the point that I didn’t even know who I was or what I wanted?
We are all born with a voice - and it's meant to be used, not repressed
