Castlevania (DOS) Speedrun
Hey folks! LoZCardsfan2223 with another PB in DOStlevania with a 13:20! About 7 hours after I got this PB, Charlie9631 shattered my world record and got a 13:14.15! Big congratulations to him!
First half of the game was excellent! Frankenstein didn't cooperate very well plus I had to grab the Big Heart from the Bone Dragon, which cost me some time. Stage 5 was excellent , but I lost 0.4 seconds on the countdown due to getting too many heart drops in the stage.
The final stage was solid, but it took me every last candle to have enough hearts for the Dracula fight. Got a 2-cycle Dracula fight and BARELY managed to get a 4-cycle Cookie Monster. That yummy input at the 3rd cycle might have cost me the sub 13:20, but who knows?
Overall I am quite pleased with this run! Perhaps the next PB, if there is one, will be the one that puts me under the 13:20 threshold!
