DOStlevania Fastest Dracula Fight Yet With 3-Cycle Cookie Monster!
Hello Vampire Hunters! LoZCardsfan2223 with a brand new strat on the Dracula fight and is a potential game changer that will enable you to get a 2-cycle Dracula fight along with a super fast 3-cycle Cookie Monster fight with the triple shot Boomerang Cross!
It is definitely NOT something you can bank on in a run, as it requires both PERFECT RNG from the game and PERFECT execution. After getting 11 hits on the first cycle, you must stand on a certain tile and hope that Dracula spawns right on top of you on the second cycle AND also hope that he is facing in the opposite direction when you get knocked back.
If everything is done correctly and you finish off the 2-cycle Dracula, Cookie Monster will spawn like so, but instead of jumping towards you after the first cycle, he will jump away from you to the corner where you can go to town on your Boomerang crosses! If your inputs are absolutely perfect, you will be able to take down Cookie Monster in just 3-cycles! Even if you miss an input or two, a 4-cycle Cookie Monster is pretty much free.
A 3-cycle Cookie Monster saves around four seconds from a typical 4-cycle Cookie Monster fight. I really wish we had the talent to create a TAS for this game, because I'm starting to think sub 13 is a possibility and opens the door for a possible 13:0x for a real time speedrun!
