IP Ratings
IP rating or Ingress Protection rating are used to define the level of protection an electrical product has against foreign bodies such as dirt, tools and moisture.
IP ratings contain two digits: The Ingress Protection marketing as well as the Solid and Water protection.
IP Zones
When you are selecting LED lighting for a bathroom, you need to understand the IP zones.
Zone 0: Inside bath or shower
Zone 1: Above the bath (to 2.25m high)- Requires at least IPX4
Zone 2: The area to 0.6 outside the bath and 2.25m high- Requires at least IPX4
