At 0315 hours a KA-52 went down in the Leskovets grey zone under unclear circumstances, prompting Echo to mount a dawn operation to secure the wreckage and recover the missing two-person crew before enemy forces could exploit them. Echo deployed at 0400, advanced through the forest to sweep and secure the site, with territorial defense elements covering the southern approach and a mechanized QRF on standby. Extraction was to be coordinated from fallback point.
