Here are some of their thoughts:
I animated this scene around the time we started to switch from paper to digital. We were intending to animate the entire film on paper (it was also a requirement at our school).
However, this was towards the end of 2020, and animating on paper at home, with almost no resources from school made it pretty difficult.
I actually animated the hair on top of the pencil test in our digital animation program Rough Animator, but it blended pretty seamlessly!
