Here is the breakdown of a scene from our film, Forget Me Not

Here is what we have to say on it:
We had a scene in our film we kept referring to as our "Money Shot." This was not that scene.
In fact, the complexity of this scene sort of crept up on us. We knew we wanted animated background characters in this entire sequence, but we didn't actually get to the background elements until our final semester when we were supposed to be only doing the color, background paintings, and compositing -- not animating.
We had to both put in extra time for about a week or two animating the background characters for the entire sequence, which includes this scene. This background also ended up being the most complicated background to paint.
And it's only a less than two second scene!
This scene shows our true love and labor for animated films!
