THE JUNIPER SOCIETY is a place for lovers of junipers, the genus Juniperus, to comment, virtually gather, and share information. This society has no dues and is open to all.
In this first episode I go over some of my juniper research over 35 years, also recomming Dr. Robert Adam's Junipers of the World book as he is truly the greatest Juniperus taxonomist ever (www.trafford.com, www.juniperus.org). My expertise is garden or cultivated junipers and here are presented some new cultivars and odd sports. I also go into nursery catalog research and the unusual Cedarug Group crosses of Juniperus horizontalis and Juniperus virginiana in cultivation.
