Dr Mahabir Pun's Finland visit
Nepalese community of Finland in collaboration with TNA (Turku Nepal Association) and NBIMF (Nepal BIM Forum) is delighted to announce an Interaction program with Dr. Mahabir Pun.
Dr. Pun is a renowned Nepali scientist, innovator and social entrepreneur. Dr. Pun, a Magsaysay award winner and Asoka fellow is known for his extensive work in applying wireless technologies to develop remote areas of the Himalayas.
Currently, he heads the National Innovation Center (NIC) which was established with a view to foster research, development and innovation in Nepal. Since July 2016, Dr. Pun has been running a crowdfunding campaign to fund NIC. He is currently visiting the UK and European nations to garner support for NIC.
This Interaction program aims at sharing his work, aggregate inspiring ideas, suggestions, and opportunities for cooperation.
