100 years ago today The Seattle General Strike
Today is February 6th and we are commemorating the Seattle General Strike, which began 100 years ago today. Begun in an environment of vastly increased union membership and with the Russian Revolution as a backdrop, the Seattle General Strike was a non-violent general work stoppage by more than 65,000 workers across many industries in that city.
