Getting the OpenAPI Community Together: OAI Track at API Days
APIs are all about establishing languages for allowing machines to cooperate. Ideally they should build on shared foundations so that they are easy to design, understand, and implement. OpenAPI is the most important foundation that we have today.
To make it easier for practitioners to follow what's going on in the space of #OpenAPI (and #AsyncAPI), the @OpenApi Initiative (the organization behind #OpenAPI) is partnering with @apidays to establish a regular "OpenAPI track" at API Days events. Here's API Days founder Mehdi Medjaoui talking about this track.
As an initial test we'll be running this track at the next upcoming API days conferences in London, Melbourne, and Paris. Expect dedicated OAI tracks at these events so that strategists and practitioners have a place where they can go to learn about current standards, upcoming drafts, standards support by tool vendors, and use cases that highlight the value of standards.
