I don't know what to call it .. This video is not a review, it's not a guide .. What is it?! I hope it's useful to someone anyway .. In part 2 I look at what type of scan to select, RAW results and I talk about RAW recovery in general .. RAW recovery is scanning for file signatures rather than file system meta data. Not all RAW scan algorithms are equal.
RAW file recovery can be useful to find files that are no longer in any way connected to a file system or even if the entire file system is FUBAR, but tools scanning for and finding RAW file is also useful for (virtual) file system reconstruction.
Note!! My remarks about RAW files with blue triangle exist in file system as well is WRONG. Green triangle means file was also found as RAW file, not the other way around.
