UltraHD 4K resolution video captured on a Samsung Note Edge smartphone and rendered using Sony Movie Studio 13 Platinum Edition.
Although this video was captured and rendered in 4K resolution, it is intended to be viewed and the maximum resolution of the playback equipment being used.
The video should be available from YouTube in a variety of resolutions and YouTube apps will automatically pick the best resolution which matches the viewer's equipment.
If the viewer tries to force the playback to use the highest available resolution on equipment that is not able to effectively display those resolutions then playback quality will suffer. Please choose the resolution that best matches your viewing device.
The video footage was captured on a very cold and windy day in early April. It was the day before Easter and I was visiting my sister and brother-in-law. They live near Pere Marquette State Park in Muskegon, MI near the public beach and shipping channel.
I was not able to use much of the natural audio that was recorded by the smartphone due to excessive wind noise. The wind battered the built-in microphones and rendered the audio portion of the captured footage unusable.
After digging around the supplied "free to use" music tools that came with the Sony Music Studio 13 Platinum Edition suite, I found a nice piano piece that went well with the scenery. After a slight adjustment to clip lengths and transition timings, the musical changes appear to coordinate with the scene transitions.
This video is far from perfect and should be considered to be somewhat of a homework assignment that I present to the world, my teacher, to help navigate the progress of my continuing education.
I really hope that you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed capturing and editing the footage. For me, it is a real treat that I am able to do such things. The tools available to creative souls today are truly wonderful.
