No exact measurements. I eyeballed everything and adjusted according to taste. See recipe below.
Green onions
Culantro
Thai eggplants
Shallota
Limes
Garlic
Thai chili’s
Fermented fish paste/prahok
Water
Chicken bouillon seasoning powder
Sugar
Fish sauce
1. Chop green onions and place them into a bowl.
2. Chop culantro & place them into the same bowl as the green onions.
3. Slice shallots and place them into the bowl with the other chopped veggies.
4. Chop eggplants & place them into an ice bath.
6. Roast garlic & Thai chili’s in a pan.
7. Add fish paste (prahok) & water to a pot. Cook & stir over medium heat for 5 mins.
8. Add roasted Thai chili’s, garlic, & prahok into a blender. Blend until completely puréed.
9. Drain water from the eggplants and add the eggplants into the bowl with all of the other veggies.
10. Pour sauce over veggies.
11. Squeeze lime juice.
12. Add chicken seasoning powder.
13. Add sugar.
13. Add fish sauce.
14. Mix ingredients.
15. Adjust according to taste.
Steak:
Season steak with olive oil, cracked black pepper, & Himalayan salt. Throw it on the grill & try not to burn it! 😉 I would normally grill each side for about 7-10 minutes then pop it into the oven at 375 degrees for approximately 25-30 minutes for a medium rare steak.
